Breakfast Bread~

Well, today I am going to post a recipe of breakfast bread. I make it a lot for Erv Shabbat preparations( We don't cook on Shabbat )
So here it is!

~Breakfast Bread~

Ingredients:

~ Flour
~ Yeast
~ Water
~ Sugar
~ Salt
~ Oil
~ Eggs

Get a large mixing bowl and add 2 cups of flour and 2 tablespoons of yeast. Stir well. In a small sauce pan add 2 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Heat that until the liquid is a comfortable temperature. If the liquid is to hot it will kill the yeast and if it is to cold it will not activate the yeast, so be careful! Then add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir really well. Then add the 2 eggs and stir some more. Next add about 3 more cups of flour to the mixture and kneed the dough for about 3 minutes. The dough should feal very pliable. Set this dough aside and cover with a cloth in a warm place for 1 hour. Then roll out the dough on a greased cookie sheet into a oval shape.let that rise again for 30 minutes while you make the inside mixture.

The insides can really be anything you would eat for breakfast like potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon, onions, and so on. For my last receipe I added Potatoes, green onions, onions, cheese, and eggs. So, cook it all lightly and then lay the mixture in the middle of the oval bread.
Cut each long side of the bread about 8 times to make thick strips. Then twist one of each of the strips on each side together in the center of the bread. Twist the rest of them all the way down the bread. Bake at 400 for about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool then put in the frig to enjoy tomorrow! Well, I am going to go now and get ready for Sabbat!
