Well, I kind of feal like posting some random pictures, and that is why this post is called.... Random!

Here is a small spring that goes across the road to get to our house. I love to go and put my feet in it after a hot day working, or ride my bike down there to get a nice breezy ride.

Horses

Hello everyone!

I thought I would write a short post, and to make up for that I will put a picture of our horses.
So, yesterday we were getting ready for guests that were coming for dinner. We cleaned the house, made freash bread, cooked spaghetti, made my Kari's Krunchies, and tryed to stay cool. And now, we have a BIG rain storm going over. We even had hail! One of our guests stayed the night, so i need to go, but here is the picture of our horses. The white horses name is Lilly, and the paint horese name is Maggie!

Transit of Venus

Hello every one! Sorry I have not been posting lately, my Grandparents were here for a week. We had a great time visiting with them and on Thursday we got to go to the Table Rock Lake in Branson. We swam with some friends, Fished, and Boated. I have a GReAT time. Our friends are tin king about getting a boat, and they had a man drive it out so they could test it out, and my Gamily got to ride on it! I sat in the front of the boat ( where it gets lifted up Higher because of going so fast) It was a great wild ride. The only thing was that I was wet still from swimming, and it was getting cold! All right! Now about the transit of Venus.... Did you all get to see it? My Dad took out the trloscope and a piece of paper. So, we got tomsee the reflection of the Sun on the paper. It was kind of neat seeing the little " dot " moving. Here is a picture off the Internet of it! Cool! I hope to be writing more now! But for now Good Night! Kari~*~

Mom,

Thank you for always being there for me when I need you. I am so blessed to have a Mom that will stay up late and then get up early to clean the house before we get out of bed. Lake Fun~

My family and another of our friends were invited to our friends house on Wednesday for a barbecue and to go to a section of Table Rock lake to fish and swim! It was so much fun! By the lake it was beautiful... Some of you all know what I mean by... The lake was sparkling! My Dad and Cassie went to fish right away wile the rest of us went swimming or talked. I went swimming with my little brothere Jack and Luke. Luke was kind of afraid of the waves because they kept going over face.. But other than that it was fun! Then iwent to fish because Dad caught a BIG Cat fish! I would say that it was about 12 inches long! Because we don't eat Cat fish because of this passage in the bible... Leviticus 11:9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat. So, by the end of the day my Dad caught 1 Cat fish that we through back out, 2 big sunfish, and a Bass. My sister Cassie caught 1 sunfish, and I caught 2 Sunfish. The rest of our group did not get anything! My Dad and I were thinking that the probably got a bit or two but because of the waves you could barely feel it sometimes! After going there we went to their house that was 5 minutes away to go grill hamburgers. My family brought the meat for our calf we butchered and so I mixed up the meat, seasoned it, and made them into patties. While I was doing that some of the boys were cleaning the fish. We had a great dinner and talked till 10:00. When we got home we still had to milk the cow... So my Dad and Cassie milked wile my Mom and I got the boys into bed. Have you all ever had a great day like that recently? I am sorry that there are no pictures.. But I was to busy having fun! :) Kari~*~
